Home Goods + Hair update

Had a long day today!! Met quite a few irritating people!!! But nevertheless I had a good day. My NFF (New Found Friend) who happens to be an Interior Designer brought me to Home Goods. Instead of a typical make-up/ cosmetics buying sessions I usually have, I had the chance to shop around home items kinda-store. I liked it. It made me feel like I am a mature woman, capable of designing my own home on my mind. Anyhoo I got some stuff there. Believe it or not I am obsessed with knives. Ever since I started living on my own (when I was still single) I always look/ shop for knives on kitchen sections of Macy's JC Penney, Sears, Etc.. I have a couple of kitchenmate, cuisinart knives I left in my old apartment. Luckilly this trip to HomeGooods made me find a Swiss Knife at a fraction of it's cost!!!


Ofcourse beauty related item still attracted my eyes. I gotta have this mirror I said. My eyebrows are like a bunch of bushy grass waiting to get plucked.. lol..
And yes, I bought a knife!! I'm sorry to scare the shittt out of you my blogmate but I'm keeping this on my purse..
And yeah, this is how my highlights look like.. (steph, I told u I like ur hair) I had it cut w/ almost the same style as yours..

Finally the love from Michigan has arrived in New Jersey. Just last week I was sending email back & forth to Stephanie and now exactly a week after our love bloomed into something. It's like a one night stand that resulted a bundle of joy.. lol.. Anyhoo to put things in a nutshell, I truly enjoyed and love the swap I had w/ her..

I totally disagree w/ the letter. I don't think she doesn't pack the goodies well. She did a good job in wrapping the love she sent me.. heehee...

too lazy to post something worth reading

I'm so random lately and nothing creative is coming out of my mind. I hate it when events like this happen.
-As of now, I am obsessing about my skin therefore, I am indulging in too much skin care products. I don't use make up too often and my husband's loving it. He hates to kiss me when I'm all caked up!
-Just finished watching American Idol. I think it's becoming more boring than ever. The talents they've picked to sing aren't comparable to the ones before.
-I'm so paranoid with the issue on 2012. Google it. Or better yet DON'T GOOGLE IT! It's scary as shitttt.
-I'm jealous of the blogger beauties who had a ramen sesh at Ippudo. Imma go there this Sat night with my girlfriends.

TUTE OF THE DAY: How to empty you wallet in 2 days

For the past two days, I've done nothing but spend my hard earn money on my addiction. I know it's not healthy, but everytime I get something, I become a child again. It's like a stress buster for me to acquire a new cosmetic or two. In two 2 I must have spent a couple of Benjamins, and yes they are sitting pretty in our room. Here's the damage:

Make up remover (2 of em- one was sent *wink)
Lip pencil (2 of em- one was traded w/ the tube of Hope in jar)

Philosophy's Hope in a Jar

I always complain about having dry ashy skin. My friend gave me a tube sample of this moisturizer and dang.. did it beat my clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion. Anyhoo I am planning to get this on Saturday at Sephora together with other goodies I'm lemmin on..

Hope in a jar does what it says. It's like having your skin drink water and not oil. I can't explain how wondeful this product is. It's like my skin is firming up too! I love love love love love this moisturizer.
